Leviathan is a series of six small canvasses which speak of the interplay between urbanization and the surrounding environment. A variety of materials are used, each type representative of an element or group of elements. The series does not intent to make a singular environmental statement, but rather to highlight the back and forth between what constitutes our environment in the modern age. Rather than making a grand gesture on a large canvas, Leviathan aims to create small snapshots of a space in flux.
